Z7954 French 8MM Protector Palm Pistol Cartridge S.F.M.

Description: Nice, inside primed 8MM centerfire cartridge used in the French 8MM "Le Protector” palm pistol. These are known as .32 Protector or .32 Extra Short cartridges in the United States. This example has a round nose bullet with an internally primed brass case. The headstamp on this is the GG logo used by Societe Francaise de Munitions of Paris, France. S.F.M. was formed from Gevelot and Gaupillat around the late 1880's. A very nice example with a lightly oxidized bullet and a crisp headstamp!
