Description: Early one-piece British Royal Navy coat button. Nice, excavated example that appears to be a water recovery. The stan up shank is intact, and the body has an even rough surface. The face features an impressed fouled anchor with a slightly tilted stock. This button could date from the late 1700’s into the very early 1800’s.
