Z6231 .44 Henry Rimfire Cartridge, Flat Nose, Short Case (U)

Description: Nice .44 Henry rimfire cartridge with a flat top and short case. This example has the raised "U” headstamp and was manufactured by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company (U.M.C.). The raised "U” was short lived. This cartridge has a flat nose bullet with two cannelures and a copper case. This cartridge could be used in the .44 Henry, M1866 Winchester, and a few different revolvers.

Headstamp: Raised "U” within an impressed circle.
