Description: Here is a very nice, late production, 20 Ga. shotshell used in the Springfield Model 1881 "Forager” shotgun. This example is brass with a copper primer and was one of the final shotshells produced for the M1881. These cartridges were used up through 1904 in the West. A clean N.P.E. with a perfect case mouth.
