Y1206 Frankford Arsenal .50-50-500 Experimental Cartridge
Description: Here is a minty .50-50-500 cartridge. These were originally thought to be produced at the Frankford Arsenal during their trials in the mid 1860's. Dean Thomas has it listed as being manufactured at the Springfield Armory in 1864-1865. This one has excellent "chatter" on the base.
