Z4856 Civil War .44 Henry Rimfire Cartridge by New Haven Arms

Description: Nice excavated example of the Civil War era pointed nose, short cased Henry rifle cartridge. This one has the large raised "H" within an impressed circle and was manufactured by the New Haven Arms Company of New Haven, Connecticut. This is a dug example with one patina chip near the nose. This is the earliest style of Henry cartridge that you can find and these are very difficult to track down in non-excavated condition.

Headstamp: Large raised "H" in a impressed circle.

Measures: OAL 1.348" CL .842"
