Z4398 Rare 1843 Bunker Hill Monument Silk Ribbon with Major General Joseph Warren.
Description: Rare silk ribbon commemorating Bunker Hill and General Joseph Warren. This piece is in exceptional condition with little to no soiling and a few light folds throughout. The pictures and information are very clear. The top image shows the monument with the underlying text that reads, "Commemorative of June 17, 1775. Consecrated June 17, 1843." The lower image is of General Joseph Warren with the underlying text that reads, ""MAJ. GEN. JOSEPH WARREN. Who was slain in the Battle of Bunker Hill.” The poem below reads, ""For God's inalienable rights to man, Our fathers fought and bled! So glorious were those rights secured, The sons revere the dead."
